Solomon Numan

December 9, 1949 — June 3, 2021

Solomon Timothy Numan was born in Cleveland, Ohio on December 9, 1949.  He was the eldest of eight children.  He was a great father to Brei and a great husband to Lutricia.  He loved his brothers and sisters dearly.  Kathy, Sheila, Peggy, Denise, Anthony, Kenneth, and Christopher, preceded him in death.

Solomon attended St. Edwards elementary, Our Lady of Lourdes and John Adams High School, all in Cleveland, Ohio.

Solomon taught himself how to play bass guitar as a young man and taught his younger brother, Kenneth how to play.  Solomon played with local bands in Cleveland, and he played bass in the Sax Man in 2013.

In his adult life he completed a carpenter apprentice program and worked construction such as Randall Mall, The Galleria, Key Tower, and the new Browns Stadium.

His hobbies included ballroom dancing and playing his bass guitar.

A Memorial Service will be held at Brown-Forward, 17022 Chagrin Blvd., Shaker Heights, OH 44120 on Friday, June 11th at 1 PM.  The service will also be live streamed for those unable to attend.
