Carolyn Fleig

Carolyn Ann (Miller) Fleig, age 76, resident of Bratenahl, Ohio passed away peacefully on January 12, 2020.

Carolyn was born October 10, 1943 in San Diego, California a daughter of the late James C. and Margaret E. Miller.

Carolyn is survived by her husband, Daniel M. Fleig, her son, Scott M. Weber and wife Loree; grandchildren, Mackenzie, Malloree, Chase and Colby; Dan's daughter, Kathy and husband, Jeff Wichert and their children, Kaylee, Brian, and Justin; and Dan's son, Jeff Fleig; a sister, Margie Langworthy of Atlanta, GA, and her son Jason and wife Sara, a brother, Jim Miller of Chicago, Illinois and his sons, Greg and Marc Miller, a brother in law Robert Houston, and his daughters, Carrie Lin and husband, Jon Shade and Melinda Beth and husband Matt Schultz, dear friends Diana Barhyte and JoAnn White.

She is preceded in death by her sister, Nancy Miller Houston and son, Todd Weber.

Carolyn was a successful businesswoman and enjoyed a career with RTA and Ameritrust Bank.  She then went on to establish her own consulting company, Management Vision. Then, she and her husband established their own business, Cleveland Charcoal and Salt Supply, where she served as Vice President.  She was a graduate of North Canton Hoover High School and received her BS and MS from Kent State University.  She had a passion for the arts, loved theatre, was an avid skier, a master gardener, loved hiking and nature, and enjoyed her world travel with dear friends and family.   Carolyn served as a volunteer for Gardens of the Western Reserve Hospice, City of Bratenahl, Center for Community Solutions and the Cleveland Food Bank.  Carolyn was a seeker of knowledge, giver of love, and had a smile and laugh that filled the hearts of her loved ones.  She was a beloved wife, mother, aunt, grandmother and friend that will be deeply missed.

A Celebration of Life for family and friends will be held from 2-4pm on Saturday, February 1, 2020 at Lakeside Yacht Club, 4851 N Marginal Rd, Cleveland, OH 44114.
