William Peter Spring

William Peter Spring passed away in New York City on August 19, 2019. Will was born on April 27, 1961, the youngest of Herbert and Katherine Spring’s four children. He attended University School in Shaker Heights, Ohio and Williams College, and earned an MBA from Fordham University.

Keenly intelligent and intuitive, Will’s laugh was infectious and his interactions with others always positive and warmhearted. He was an excellent athlete, particularly in track and field; he enjoyed collecting Asian art and birdwatching. But most important to Will, was his devotion to his Christian faith.

Will is survived by his siblings Robert (Cornelia), Katherine (Robert) and Baker (Michelle), and his nephews and niece Charlie, Peter and Katie Alston and Huyette, Peter and Alexander Spring.  The family invites you to join a memorial service in New York at Redeemer Presbyterian Church West Side 150 West 83rd Street on Monday, September 23rd at 11 am. There will be a private burial in Gates Mills, Ohio.
