Victoria Therencia Silva de Boisset

Victoria Therencia Silva de Boisset, died Tuesday, August 2, 2022 in Shaker Heights, Ohio.

She leaves her daughter, Rosa Boisset-Brindle; her son-in-law, Brad R. Brindle; her granddaughter, Maya L. Brindle; her sister Gladys Copello, many nieces and nephews, friends, and her caregivers who loved her dearly.

Born and raised in the port of Callao, Peru, the daughter of José and Therencia Silva and sister to 12 siblings, Victoria moved with her husband Jorge—who passed away in 2016—to Cleveland all the way from Peru on June 16, 2016 to reunite with her daughter, son-in-law, and granddaughter.

Victoria was a creative teacher. During her many years working for public schools in La Perla, Callao, she created nice shows for her students to perform. Her creativity was also manifest in the beautiful stories she came up with on the spot to entertain her young daughter.

Victoria also enjoyed knitting, crocheting and a good conversation in front of a hot cup of tea. A natural optimist, Victoria loved chatting about life events, family, and good news. Everyone who met her agrees on one thing: Victoria was a very elegant lady with a strong personality and expressive eyes.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, August 13, 3pm, in the Myers Memorial Chapel of the Church of the Saviour located at
2537 Lee Road in Cleveland Heights, with private burial to follow.
