Pamela Pim

February 5, 1940 — August 23, 2019


Pamela B. Pim (nee Briggs) peacefully passed away Friday August 23, 2019. Beloved wife of Kendall A. Pim of Cleveland Hts., OH; dear mother of Britton L. Pim (Colleen) of St. Louis, MO and Dierdre K. Pim (Kurt W. Haas) of Cleveland Hts., OH; grandmother of Miles, Campbell, Colin and Briggs Pim; sister of Janis Briggs-Rowland of Baldwinsville, NY.


Pamela was born in 1940, graduated from Jamesville Dewitt High School (Dewitt, NY) in 1958 and then graduated from Lake Erie College for Women (Painesville, OH) in 1962 .
Pamela met her husband, Kendall, in 1959 and they were married in 1964. They had a lot of good times together, raised two healthy and successful children who are both happily married. They have four grandchildren.


Pam was a talented cook and baker. There were home cooked meals most nights and she made fun birthday cakes for the kids while they were growing up. She was also talented in needlework. She sewed her children’s clothing while they were growing up and her own clothes for many years. She also assembled many quilts. She knitted numerous sweaters and there are many of her needlepoint and cross stitch pictures hanging on the walls in her home. Pam shared her knowledge and skills with her children. Pam was also an avid gardener.
Pam and Ken, among other activities, shared a love of sailing and traveling. For a number of years, they enjoyed racing with friends and family.  They would also take sailing vacations to the Lake Erie islands as well as over to Canada.

Memorial Services will be held, Friday, September 6th at 1 PM in Forest Hill Church – Presbyterian, 3031 Monticello Blvd., Cleveland Hts., OH 44118.
