Mason Jeffrey

October 22, 2002 — August 7, 2015

Mason Jeffrey-Robert Green was granted his angel wings on August 7th, 2015, following his brave fight against brain cancer. His final days were spent surrounded by his family and friends, all those that Mason had touched in some way and changed for the better.

Mason's life would seem too short to many, but those who were touched by him understood that the quality of his existence far exceeded the years. His gentle smile and beautiful eyes would melt the hearts of those around him.

Mason possessed a strength and perseverance that most of us couldn't come close to. With his courage he was able to fight the cancer while still enjoying time with his family and friends. He was able to create wonderful lasting memories for those who live on to honor his life. Mason loved sports, baseball, basketball and soccer among his deepest loves.

With Mason's passing, we remind others that his life was one to be celebrated. Although he will be painfully missed by his family and friends, their faith allows them to find comfort in the fact that Mason has gone to be with God and that they will all be reunited one day. His love and spirit will remain in our hearts forever, his life will be remembered and his spirit honored by all those who knew him.

Mason was deeply loved by his parents, Monica Gayle Green and Jeffrey Alan Green of Bartlesville, OK. His older brother, Spencer and his younger sister, Olivia will forever hold Mason in their hearts and honor his life by living their lives to the fullest, sharing their memories of Mason and creating a beautiful legacy that will last forever. He was also loved by his maternal grandparents, Robert and Diantha Kohler and his paternal grandparents, Larry Green and Judith Dade.

A Memorial Mass will be held Saturday, August 22nd at 10 AM in St. John Before the Latin Gate Catholic Church, 715 South Johnstone Ave., Bartlesville, OK, 74006. Following the Mass, the family will receive guests at the church.

The family prefers that those who wish may make contributions in Mason's name to The Cleveland Clinic Children's, 9500 Euclid Ave., Cleveland, OH 44195; The Jessie Rees Foundation, PO Box 80667, Rancho Santa Margarita, CA 92688 or The Soccer Program of Oklahoma Wesleyan University, 2201 Silver Lake Road, Bartlesville, OK 74006.
