Marjorie Stafford

Marjorie D. Stafford, age 94 of Gates Mills, OH. Earned her BA from the College of Wooster and her Masters in Physical Education from Case Western Reserve University. She was a Phys. Ed. teacher for over 40+ years and also sold residential real estate for over 25 years. Marjorie had over 40 years as a volunteer for the American Red Cross (served in Europe during WWII), was a longtime member of the Junior League of Cleveland (singing group: "Lilton Leaguers") and honored Gates Mills Tennis Instructor. Loving mother of James B. Stafford, IV of Gates Mills; dear grandmother of Dylan D. Stafford.

The family prefers that those who wish may make contributions in her name to the Gates Mills Improvement Society (for the upkeep of the Village tennis courts), 1470 Chagrin River Road, Gates Mills, Ohio 44040. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 22 at 1:00 PM on the tennis courts behind the Gates Mills Village Town Hall on River Road, followed by a reception at 1280 River Road. Interment, Gates Mills Cemetery North.
