Kristin A. Vanni-Sallade

Kristin A. Sallade (nee Quintin) beloved wife of Robert C. Sallade of Cleveland Hts., dear daughter of Patricia V. (nee Vanni) and Edward Babcox III (deceased) of Mayfield Hts., and Philip D. Quintin and Barbara (nee Culwell) of Sugar Hill, GA, and Janice Girod-Law of Glendale, AZ. Dear mother of sons Robin Sallade (Jacquelyn Yarman) of Cincinnati, Griffin Sallade, and Rocco Sallade of Cleveland Hts. Grandmother of Arthur Florian Sallade. Dear sister of Jennifer Grenwis (James) of Chesterland, Josaphine Yuzuik (Thomas) of Owings, MD, Edward S. Babcox IV of Mayfield Hts., Kelly Orkin-Brady (Jason) of Acworth, GA, and Tiffany Law of Omaha, NB. Dear Aunt of Reese Orkin, Eleanor and Luke Yuzuik, and Edward V and Hunter Babcox. Kristin has passed after a year battle with colon cancer.

Kristin was a student at Cactus High School in Glendale, AZ and graduated from Notre Dame Academy in Chardon, OH. She received a B.A. in English from Notre Dame College of Ohio and later returned to get her 7-12 Language Arts teaching credentials. She worked at Notre Dame College as an operator, a secretary in the admissions office, and the Tot Spot. She worked at Sylvan Learning Center in Lyndhurst for 6 years where she was Director of Education. She was a substitute teacher at Warrensville Heights High school and taught at Lutheran High School East. She also worked at The Black Forest Inn in S. Euclid under John Patterson and at Answering Service Inc.

The family prefers that those who wish may make contributions in her name to the cancer charity of your choice or the local no kill animal shelter of their choice.

A Memorial Service will be held at Brown-Forward Funeral Home, 17022 Chagrin Blvd., Shaker Hts., OH 44120 on Tuesday, January 13th at 1 PM AND WHERE FRIENDS MAY CALL ON MONDAY, JANUARY 12TH FROM  2 TO 4 PM  AND 6 TO 8 PM.
