John was loved and cherished by his family. He was kind and full of grace. He was compassionate, giving and strong and we loved him so very much.
John was adopted as an infant from Vietnam to become one of eight children to be raised by the loving McGuinness family of Wickliffe, Ohio. He was always grateful for the opportunities they afforded him and family was something he cherished.

He thrived on making each of their milestones special. He enjoyed coaching their various sporting ventures and was a Board member of the Bulldog Club. The family travelled often with John planning their many adventures as he wanted to show the boys the world.
