John D. Markulin passed peacefully on November 13 at the age of 99. Beloved husband of 60 years to the late Cora Lee (nee Edwards); loving father of Laura Sexton (Marty) of Shaker Heights, John S. Markulin (Jan) of Euclid and Kim Demko (Tom) of Englewood, FL; adored grandfather of Michelle, Rachel, Ashley, Heather and Cassie; great-grandfather to Joshua; dear brother to the late Virginia Wright (Elmer); uncle to Tim, Steve and Karen.
John lived a wonderful full life. World War II Army veteran. Successful business owner, an avid golfer and a life-long Cleveland sports fan. But more importantly John was a true gentleman, a devoted family man and a loyal and generous friend. He was always willing to help anyone in need. He will be gratefully remembered and deeply missed by all that knew and loved him. Special thanks to the staff at Stone Gardens and Hospice of the Western Reserve.
