John Blackwell, Ph.D. Professor Emeritus CWRU, the beloved husband of Susan M. Blackwell (née Crawshaw) of Cleveland Hts., OH; the dear father of Martin J. Blackwell (Elizabeth Skomp) of DeLand, FL and Helen E. Blackwell (David Lynn) of Middleton, WI; the dear grandfather of Vivien Blackwell, Hannah Lynn, and Alex Lynn. 

The family prefers that those who wish may make contributions in his name to St. Paul’s Episcopal Church for The Friends of Music, 2747 Fairmount Blvd., Cleveland Hts., OH 44106, the Nature Center at Shaker Lakes, 2600 South Park Blvd., Cleveland, OH 44120, or Reserve Care Hospice, PO Box 72101, Cleveland, OH 44192. 

Funeral Services will be held at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, Cleveland Hts., Saturday October 17th at 2 pm.
