Jeanette K. Mitchell
Jeanette Katie Mitchell, age 75, left us for her heavenly home on Tuesday, March 12, 2024. She is survived by Joseph, her loving husband of 40 years.
Jeanette was a dedicated nurse who served the Cleveland Clinic for over forty years. Throughout her long and fulfilling career in nursing, Jeanette touched the lives of countless patients and was known for her caring and compassionate nature. Her colleagues remember her as a devoted healthcare professional who always put the well-being of others first. Her commitment to helping others extended beyond the workplace as she always made time for others.
Jeanette had a heart of gold and cherished spending quality time with her beloved husband, Joseph.Their bond was a testament to faithfulness and love that inspired those around them.
Family was at the center of Jeanette's world. Her legacy of love and kindness will forever remain in the hearts of Marilisa, Martavia, and Ieayna, her cherished granddaughters; Martavion, her great grandson; and Leon, her dear brother. Jeanette was preceded in death by her daughter, Lisa, and her parents, William and Minnie McLaughlin.
In addition to her professional accomplishments, Jeanette found joy in exploring the world through travel. New York City held a special place in her heart, and she had the opportunity to visit numerous other destinations throughout Europe, Hawaii, Spain, and enjoyed cruising adventures alongside her husband.
The memories created by Jeanette will be treasured by all who knew her. Her personality - characterized by traits such as thoughtfulness, kindness, faithfulness, generosity, and love - left an indelible mark on those around her.
Jeanette will forever be remembered for her grace, kindness, and loving nature that touched the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her. May she rest in peace knowing that her legacy of compassion lives on in the memories she leaves behind.
