Adored husband of Benita "Be" McElwee nee Zucker; loving father of Mitchell and Denise McElwee of Columbus; dear step-father of Rachel Schmidt Jesse of Lakewood and Mandi Fitzpatrick of So. Euclid; dear brother of Nonie Bretthauer Ted of Gahanna; grandfather of Devon, Stacie and Dylan. Funeral Services will be held at 2pm on Tuesday, October 27 at Brown-Forward, 17022 Chagrin Blvd, Shaker Hts, OH, WHERE FRIENDS MAY CALL 1 HOUR PRIOR TO THE SERVICE. ADDITIONAL VISITATION WILL BE HELD FROM 6-8PM ON MONDAY, OCTOBER 26 AT BROWN-FORWARD. Interment Lake View Cemetery.
