Gilbert P. Schafer, Jr.

Gilbert P. Schafer Jr. passed away October 8, 2023, in Charleston, South Carolina, at the age of 88.  He is survived by his two sons, Gilbert P. Schafer III of New York, NY, and Julian B. Schafer of Las Vegas, NV, and daughter-in-law Courtnay D. Schafer. He is also survived by his brother Robert K. Schafer and sister-in-law, Elizabeth W. Schafer of Charleston, SC, as well as his niece Elizabeth K. Schafer of Chevy Chase, MD.

Gilbert was a graduate of the University School in Shaker Heights, OH, and Yale University.

Private interment at Lake View Cemetery, Cleveland, Ohio.
