George Hinds Thoburn of Lakewood, OH died December 3, 2014. Beloved son of the late Mary Hinds Thoburn Bopp and the late Crawford Bennett Thoburn. Beloved brother of Crawford Randall Thoburn (Karen) of Aurora, NY, Mary Thoburn Tame of Detroit, MI and Isabella "Bitty" Thoburn Dorr of South Euclid, OH. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Music and theatre were passions throughout his life. The family prefers that those who wish may make contributions in his name to Cleveland Play House, Administration and Education Center, 1901 E. 13th St., Suite 200, Cleveland, OH 44114 or to The Cleveland Orchestra, Severance Hall, 11001 Euclid Ave., Cleveland, OH 44106 or to The Cleveland Museum of Art, 11150 East Blvd., Cleveland, OH 44106.
Private family services will be held in Greendale Cemetery in Meadville, PA.
