Elizabeth Wentz

Elizabeth Jane Moore Wentz died peacefully on May 3rd 2016 in Cleveland, Ohio at the age of 93. Elizabeth, affectionately known as Bette, lived in Shaker Heights, Ohio. She was born April 7, 1923 at 26 West Franklin Ave., Beverly, New Jersey. She was the last survivor of eight children born to Willis Walton Moore and Harriett Elmira Heisler Moore. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 69 years, W. Budd Wentz, M.D. She is survived by her children Kurt Budd Wentz and wife Sharon Greenberg Wentz of Houston, Texas, Karen Wentz McCrary and husband Thomas D. McCrary of Shaker Heights, Ohio, and J. Peter Wentz and wife Amy Ryder Wentz of South Euclid, Ohio; and her adored grandchildren Andrew Thomas McCrary of Cleveland, Ohio and Mary Helen Elizabeth Wentz and William Budd Wentz of South Euclid, Ohio.

The family is grateful to the staff of Judson Park Bruening Health Center for their compassionate care in Bette's last years. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions in her memory to the Medical Annual Fund of Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine.

The Wentz family extends an invitation to attend a Memorial Service and Reception on Monday, May 9 at 2:00 pm at Judson Park (mansion living room) located at 2181 Ambleside Road, Cleveland, Ohio (Chestnut Hill Entrance). She will be interred at The Monument Cemetery, 812 Bridgeboro Road Beverly, New Jersey at a later date.
