Elizabeth Nelson Hitchcock

Elizabeth N. Hitchcock September 20, 1923 - July 10, 2022 Elizabeth “Betty” Hitchcock (nee Nelson) of Mentor, Ohio passed away peacefully on July 10, 2022.

She was the beloved wife of the late Morley Hitchcock; dear mother of Peggy Hitchcock of Bremerton, WA, and the late Nancy Harvey of Chagrin Falls, OH; dear grandmother of Doug Harvey (Marcie) of Hudson, OH; precious great grandmother of Ella, Calvin, Violet, and the late Lucy Harvey; and dear sister of the late William D. Nelson of Hot Springs, AR.

In lieu of flowers, the family encourages contributions to the Holden Arboretum, 9550 Sperry Road, Kirtland, OH 44094 or to Bella Care Hospice, Celebrate Life Foundation,1933 State Route 45, Austinburg, Ohio 44010.

 Memorial services will be held on Saturday, September 17th at 3 PM in the First Presbyterian Church of Willoughby, 4785 Shankland Road, Willoughby, Ohio and can be viewed by the public via a Live Stream link below.
