DONNA L. SPAVEN (nee Hansson) Age 70, died peacefully on September 6th, 2015 after many complications from breast cancer treatment and diabetes.
Donna was the devoted wife of Stuart, of Auburn Twp., for over fifty years.
She was the loving mother of Denise Davis (Steve) of Shaker Hts., OH; the daughter of the late George and Anne Walker Hansson; step-daughter of the late Emilie and sister of the late Verna Hansson; loving sister of George (Betty), Glenn (Linda) and Diane Hansson; and the doting grandmother of Jessica Cowan (Erik Erdman) and Brooke Davis.
She was so proud to have her "bonus" grandchildren Meghan Davis (Jason Lariccia) and Alex Davis.
There will be a private family interment.
The family prefers that those who wish may make contributions in her name to The Geauga Humane Society Rescue Village, 15463 Chillicothe Rd, Novelty, OH 44072, or Susan G. Komen For the Cure, 26210 Emery Rd # 307, Cleveland, OH 44128.
THE FAMILY WILL RECEIVE FRIENDS AT DENISE'S RESIDENCE, 2672 SULGRAVE RD., SHAKER HTS.., OH, THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 10TH FROM 5 to 9 PM.
