Carolyn Putnam

CAROLYN MAIE BAUER PUTNAM, age 97.  Carolyn resided for most of the last 70 years in Shaker Hts., OH.  Carolyn was born in Lakewood, OH to Henry Frederick Bauer and Ruth Norris Bauer on March 1, 1922.  She was the beloved wife of her Kindergarten classmate, the late Herbert N. Putnam, Jr., for 66 years.  She was dearest mother to Sandra Putnam Guida (husband Patrick A. “Buzz”) of Barrington, RI, David N. Putnam of Garfield Hts., OH, and the late Herbert N. Putnam, III (wife Marsha); loving grandmother of Kristin A. Guida Todd (husband  Matthew) of Hamilton, MA and Ross G. Guida of Boston, MA; and the great-grandmother of Ethan M. Todd and Owen P. Todd.  Carolyn was a devoted Christian and attendee of the Parkside Church in Bainbridge Twnshp.  Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 16 at 11:00 AM at Parkside Church, 7100 Pettibone Road, Bainbridge, Twnshp, OH 44023.  Friends may call at Brown-Forward Funeral Home, 17022 Chagrin, Boulevard, Shaker Hts., OH 44120 on Sunday, September 15 from 3:00 to 5:00 PM.
