Bobby was raised in Oberlin, OH. She attended Northfield School for Girls and graduated from Sweetbriar College. She raised her family in Cleveland Hts.
In her youth, she excelled in horseback riding, sailing and many outdoor pursuits. Bobby was diminutive, yet possessed a mighty heart and determination that sustained her following the death of her precious daughter, Cynthia, at age 26. Proud of her Harvard Medical School educated father and brother, she distinguished herself by being reserved, dignified, unpretentious, and forever a loving mother and wife. She was kind and thoughtful, and notes of thanks and appreciation were a must. Later in life, she enjoyed her home in Russell Township, OH. Transfixed by nature's beauty, she loved the sun and starry skies and critter activity in her yard. Bobby doted on her beloved dog, Baxter, who comforted her after her husband's death, nine days before she left us to join him and her daughter. A dear sweet woman, my mother will forever be missed and loved.
