Annie Pearl Davis, age 93 of Shaker Heights, Ohio died on Thursday, April 20th in her residence. She was the beloved wife of John Thomas Davis who passed in 1987. She was the dear mother of Linda Ann Davis-Williams of Shaker Heights and Joan Marie Davis of Shaker Heights. Dear grandmother of Vernon John Williams of Shaker Heights. She was the great grandmother of Dominique Marie Williams also of Shaker Heights.
She was a registered nurse for 40 years with Cleveland City, Highland View and Horizon hospitals. She was one of the nine African American nurses to graduate from nursing school in 1949. She retired from Metzembaum in 1987.
A service in celebration of Annie Davis' life will be held on Friday, April 28 at 1pm at Brown-Forward, 17022 Chagrin Blvd., Shaker Heights, Ohio 44120 where FRIENDS MAY VIEW ONE HOUR PRIOR TO THE SERVICE. Interment, Highland Park Cemetery.
