Donna Zorge

Donna W. Zorge (nee Watkins), beloved sister of Fred A. Watkins (Wilma) of Kirtland Hills, OH. Beloved aunt of Christopher Watkins (Catherine), Timothy Watkins, Anna Schlieman (John). Dear great aunt of Peter, Beatrice, and Phoebe Watkins; Madeline, Sophia, and Jack Schlieman.

Donna was a graduate of Hathaway Brown School, Colby-Sawyer College, and Case Western Reserve University. She received a Masters Degree in Reading from John Carroll University. Donna taught first grade in the Shaker Heights school system for twenty-eight years at Boulevard, Malvern, and Mercer. Donna was involved in the former Russell Women's Civic Club and chaired their Craft Show. She devoted much of her time to volunteer work for the Big Moose Community Chapel in upstate New York where she spent her summers. Donna was Chair of the church bazaar and was a member of the Board of Trustees for many years. She wintered on Hilton Head Island and was involved with the Hilton Head Symphony Orchestra League as Co-Chair of Fundraising. Donna enjoyed spending time with family, friends, and her cherished dogs.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, December 19 at 12 noon at Federated Church, 76 Bell St., Chagrin Falls, OH.
